An eye examination is an important part of your health care regime. You should have an examination a minimum
of every 2 years.
Our licensed optometrists are fully qualified to complete a comprehensive exam of your visual ability, vision and eye health. Pending your individual needs for care and follow-up, our optometrists will provide advice and/or referrals on a case by case basis. At this time, your optometrist will also advise you on how often to return for an eye exam. An eye examination is covered by OHIP once a year for persons under 20 and those 65 and over. OHIP also covers a major eye exam once every 12 months for persons aged 20 - 64 who have medical conditions requiring regular eye examinations.
